Circuit City

January 28, 2009

If you haven’t heard, Circuit City is going out of business. Everything is on sale as they try to liquidate as much of their assets as possible.

Our local Circuit City has some items up to 30% off the suggested retail price. The store is closing sometime in March, so I have to assume that bigger deals will be forthcoming in the next few weeks.

It’s drawing a lot of people in but few are buying, so my hope is that when their stock hits a nice 70% off that they will actually have something left in the store.

So if you live near a Circuit City, it might be worth checking it out especially if you are looking for a deal on accessories. Electronic items like cameras, camcorders, and computers seem to be going fast.

Woot.com

January 23, 2009

One of my favorite deal websites is Woot.com. Each day they feature an incredible deal.

This week I was able to buy an HD video camcorder for less than $140 including shipping. Today’s Woot is a special PC gaming keyboard.

If you are looking for a bargain and really who isn’t, keep an eye on this website from some good deals.

The cosmetics will be given away over the next seven days and are for those who bought certain brand makeup including Estee Lauder and Chanel from May 29, 1994 – July 16, 2003.

Gamestop Weekly Ad Jan 2 – Jan 8

January 5, 2009

Gamestop’s weekly deals are now available for viewing online. Are you looking to spend that Christmas cash or Gamestop gift card? Then check out their weeky ad.

The $5 trade-in bonus might be good for those who are looking to clean out their video game shelf and earn some credits for future purchases.

We went to Gamestop this past weekend where there were plenty of PS2 games for under $9.99. This is definitely a good time to shop at Gamestop as they seem to have a lot of inventory they are looking to move.
