$5 cookbooks include the Taste of Home cookbook, Prize Winning Recipes, and Taste of Home Baking Book. This sale ends May 19th, 2009.

KFC Rain check

The power of Oprah Winfrey strikes again. Due to the overwhelming response for a free meal from KFC, the chicken giant is now issuing rain checks to those who downloaded the coupon from their website. The free meal was part of the campaign to kick off the new Kentucky Fried Chicken Grilled meal.

Those with a coupon now must visit a KFC location and fill out a rain check form. Then a raincheck coupon will be mailed to you. It will be good for the two pieces of KFC grilled chicken, two individual side items, and a biscuit. For the inconvenience, KFC is also adding a free Pepsi drink to the rain check coupons. The rain check coupons will be good for two weeks.

All rain check requests must be made by May 19th.

Fan Deals at Walgreens

While looking through the weekly Walgreens flier, I noticed that Walgreens has a deal on their 3 speed fans. You buy a fan and then receive Register Rewards that can be used on your next transaction.

Register Rewards will be taken off the amount of your purchase. Most of the fans had a $5 Register Reward, so on your next visit you can save $5. Remember to keep up with your Register Rewards and to use them before they expire.
