CVS Free Gift

Do you have a CVS Extra Care Card? They are free and you can earn bucks that you can spend in the store like cash.

During the month of August, the first time you use your Extra Care card you receive a free gift. I ran in the other day to grab some pull ups and was surprised to get a coupon for a free CVS toothbrush. I will need to use it before a certain date. I should have grabbed it then but was in a hurry.

So if you have an ECB card then head on over to CVS for a free gift. Offer good only on the first time the ECB card is used in August.

Yarn Deals

This summer I’ve discovered a love for crocheting. I find I can do it while watching TV and it keeps me from snacking so much. It’s a win-win as I can make gifts and also cut back on calories.

I’ve been shopping for yarn more and realize that locally there just aren’t that many options for buying yarn. Right now since I’m still getting the hang of crocheting, I’ve just been using what I can find readily available but can see a day in the near future when I want to try new and different yarns.

This is where the Internet is so great because you can find practically anything for sale and usually at a better price than at a brick and mortar store.

There are some good deals on yarn at Yarn.com as they are having their summer clearance sale. Balls of wool yarn are as low as $2, regular $9.99. There are plenty of other sale items that are at least half off the regular price.
